The Hohmann Corridor Universe

Three worlds.
One owned road.

The Corridor joins Hainan, Eutopia Station, and Providence Planitia through disciplined orbital timing. Passage is available to qualified residents, route personnel, and approved cargo classes.

A serious, plausible science-fiction universe where orbital mechanics set the constraints, and ownership decides who must live inside them.

Welcome to the Corridor

A future built from pressure, debt, and breath.

The Hohmann Corridor is an unfolding science-fiction universe set across Earth, the Moon, and Mars in 2094. It begins with The Breathing Class, a literary thriller about a Martian settlement whose clean public story begins to fracture when one auditor asks where the missing life-support margin went.

This site is both reader guide and in-world archive. Follow the route through Hainan, Eutopia Station, and Continuity One; inspect the technology, politics, propaganda, and official numbers; then step into the four-book tetralogy that turns one missing component into a struggle over who owns humanity's road between worlds.

The operating geography

A civilisation built as a route.

Hainan builds and launches. Eutopia filters, fuels, and delays. Providence receives the cost. No port is scenery. Every gate changes what can move, what can be counted, and what can still be called true.

01

Hainan

The Earthside mouth: launch cadence, universities, medical clearance, scholarship debt, coastal concessions, and the bright ceremony of departure.

02

Eutopia

The lunar throat: ice works, propellant, quarantine, inspection, Pressure Town, and the quiet power to make onward movement wait.

03

Providence

The Martian destination: Descent Fields, buried rings, air rank, family status, repair labour, and a settlement too inhabited to abandon.

The clean atrium.

A city can be beautiful and still be an accounting instrument.

Survivability dashboard

39,860 bodies.
Five official totals.

The settlement publishes different populations because every office is answering a different question. Only one number requires air.

The story spine

The road was never free.

Across four novels, an audit becomes an investigation, the investigation becomes a rescue, and the rescue becomes an indictment of the most valuable private infrastructure in human history.

The city survives exposure, then discovers that every breath has already been pledged to residents, emergency operations, and investors.

Book Three

The Sovereign Orbit

The struggle climbs into orbit, where depots, berths, communications delay, and docking permission become the machinery of sovereignty.

Book Four

The Last Window

The old ownership machine faces seizure, replacement, or destruction at the last transfer where all three worlds remain bound to one road.
